What is 'Me Time'?

What Is ‘Me Time’?

'Me Time' is a project for Knowsley young people aged 5 to 18, who may require support if they have a caring role with a family member or they are vulnerable due to family substance misuse issues, have experienced domestic abuse or have a parent or carer suffering mental health issues / illnesses.

The project engages young people through weekly organised sessions between Monday and Friday based at various Knowsley Youth Mutual venues. On occasion, some sessions may be structured to operate offsite if they involve specific activities such as outdoor education etc. KYM offer service users the opportunity to experience new and exciting activities that are fun and stimulate their personal development. These opportunities could involve cultural trips such as visiting theatres and the cinema or taking part in more mainstream activities such as football, netball etc. Other than this our service users can also use their time on the project to just come and chill, make new friends and access further support and opportunities via their youth workers.
